San Francisco, CA- For the first time in three years, Mark Farina will be bringing his Mushroom Jazz on tour! Coinciding with the March release, a small group of US/International dates have been selected to host the nights, with Mark spinning his finest in hand picked downtempo delights in key cities LIVE!

Volume five of the Mushroom Jazz series finds new paths and destinations for exploration of all that is unique in the land of funky hip-hop and R&B. Inspired by Mark’s signature layering of instrumental tracks with hip-hop and soul vocals, and of course lots of weird samples from old vinyl collected over the years, Mushroom Jazz 5 stands out as its own sound. The new album features new and unreleased material and includes a bumpin’ brand new Mark Farina original track entitled “Cali Spaces”. Like a modern day traveling minstrel, bringing his new sounds to the far reaches of this good music starved planet, Mark Farina yet again steps in when we need him most to remind us all that music can still be fresh and off the hook!
